No Tornado News
I can say, thankfully, no one I know was hurt. It seems odd that the one caveat “no one I know” ends up sounding oddly selfish instead of the grasping at an even more odd attempt at manufacturing a positive statement from the situation. The thing is a wreck. The middle of the state is a wreck.
BUT, the massive tornado that did a lot of the now infamous destruction lifted off the ground just once as it cut that scar across middle Alabama. As it approached the home of Olsen and Tracie and their two daughters, it hopped. They’re safe. Amazing really.
National Geographic followed Tracie and Joe when they went to China to complete the adoption of their daughter(s). It’s a fine family of artists and truly wonderful people. Cheers Tornado, for that one slip.
